section of styles but also the extraordinarily diverse choices of materials that showcase each artist’s “signature”.
“It is my hope that this exhibition will provide you with endless viewing pleasure and inspire you to not only see the mosaics around you but also seek out the many galleries and museums that feature this extraordinary Art Form.” Linda Dadak, curator
Signatures.
About the Curator:
Linda Dadak, a Cape Cod Mosaic artist, brought the first mosaic exhibition to New England in 2004 which was held at the Higgins Gallery on the campus of Cape Cod Community College.
In the summer of 2011, Linda co-curated The National Mosaic Exhibition of Cape Cod at Highfield Hall in Falmouth, Ma. In
addition to showing 65 works of mosaic art, classes, gallertalks, mosaic bus tour and films were all a part of this very popular and unique exhibition.
This summer, Linda has invited 15 nationally and internationally known mosaic artists from around the country to participate in
Signatures. This exhibition presents some of the best work from today’s mosaic artists and will inspire you to take a closer look at the extraordinary diversity of this art form and show that these contemporary artists indeed have a distinct Signature.
